A power tool is a tool powered by an electric motor, a compressed air motor, or a gasoline engine. Tools are classified as either stationary (corded) or portable (cordless). They are used in industry metalworking, woodworking, in construction, for drilling and sanding, cutting and shaping, grinding, painting, and polishing.
