Really, why leave behind burrs that have to be touched up later? This saw's thin-kerf blade and high-speed motor cuts smoothly, with no rough edges to file down later. And, the tool cuts without heating up the material so you can handle the cut area as soon as the cut is done. Equipped with the thin metal blade (EY9PM13D), the saw cuts thin metal such as steel residential siding without bending or blemishing.

The long run time comes from Panasonic's 3.0 amp NiMh battery technology. The battery charges in just 45 minutes to cut over 100 pieces of 3/8-inch threaded rod or 3/4-inch conduit before it's time to replenish. And, so you're not left in the lurch with just a little work left to do, the inverter charger features a 5-minute "Emergency Charge" that charges the pack to 15 percent of its capacity to finish those last few cuts. --Brian D.
