dead makita battery
the battery you sent me was dead. it wouldn't take a charge. makita 1-800 tech support said to send it to their nearest service center, which i did. that was 3 weeks ago and i haven't heard back. dead battery and lousy tech support. not a pretty picture.

Drop in replacement for stock batteries
No worries about buying this battery, it is the exact equivalent to what came with my drill, which just plain wore out (too many charges). I even forgot I had replaced them until I saw this in my list of previous purchases.

A new battery pack
After 10 years the battery pack on my Makita drill quit accepting a charge, so it was time to buy another. The local Home Depot didn't have any of the type I needed, perhaps because it is an older model - so I turned to Amazon. When I got the new battery pack, it charged up fine and works well. End of story.

Makita 12 Volt Battery
I have an older 12 volt Makita Cordless Drill that works great, so I had to find a source for new batteries as Lowes and Home Depot no longer carry them because of the age of the tool. This battery lasts a little longer and I will have to replace another one soon. I'm glad Amazon carries them. Good product.
